There are a number of Horse Riding Centres within a few minutes of
Mazamet.
Lessons cost from as little as €12 per hour. Riders from the age of five
are welcome.

Shopping
Mazamet has over 200 shops. Castres just 12km away is a large town with
many more.
Carcassonne larger still, just 50km away, but the best shopping can be
found in the city of Toulouse which is just an hour away by car or direct
train or bus.
Skiing
The nearest skiing is 75 minutes drive away at Formigueres - There are 17
pistes, 1 black, 7 red, 6 blue and 3 green. Ski lifts, snow park and a ski
school.
Other ski resorts such as Aix les Therms, Les Angles, Font Romeu are just
